Legendary performance from a legendary audio company, and still done at a BUDGET PRICE! This is one OUTSTANDING cartridge, serving as my personal springboard back into real high-end performance In the 80s I had a Dynavector Ruby, then a Grace F-9....then I ran out of cash for a while, and finally got back into the groove with a Sumiko Blue Point special, which I bought on its press. A friend told me about the MC Silver....I tried it and have never looked back! I've been all over the Benz-Micro line ever since, and have never found one I didn't love! I've sold these things regularly now for ages, and will never stop! THEY'RE TOO GOOD NOT TO KEEP RECOMMENDING! Low level detail is SO MUCH BETTER when one properly designs a low-output moving coil design. You'll need a good phono stage that's not only quiet, but true to the music, to take full advantage of the of the MC Gold, but a wise choice will be rewarded with years of enjoyment!I just love this cartridge. The Benz-Micro MC GOLD is not just good for the MONEY, it's OUTSTANDING! It makes a MOCKERY out of most of those similarly-priced pretenders out there. Buy one and have FUN! |
