CD Players

One thing's for sure. Great digital playback of CDs, SACDs, DVDs, and other digital media is NOT"Just a simple matter about those 0s and 1s." It also has a lot to do with the TIMING of those 0s and 1s, the proper READING and PROCESSING of those bits, and how they're all reassembled at the end of the line, before the ANALOG OUTPUT SECTION - basically a one-in, one-out preamp does ITS part, too!

Then there are power supplies, displays, resonance control factors, and TONS more that go into the final equation and sonic result. Get the idea? This stuff gets REALLY complicated. It's FAR more than whose DAC gets used, whose transport gets used, and that sort of thing. ANY component's sonic signature is actually the result of an ENTIRE SIGNAL PATH that happens INSIDE THAT COMPONENT, and CD players are no different. PLEASE consider that before beginning your journey toward Sonic Heaven, and PLEASE give us a call for some expert assistance along the way!
