I've long stated that a budget audio component's greatest achievement is NOT how much it can do, it's how LITTLE it can mess something up, which would draw attention to itself; taking you away from the music.  The Debut III is masterful at not screwing anything up. It's a well-conceived budget piece that gives the entry-level analog lover what he/she came for....MUSIC.  No frills, done right.  

AND NOW IT COMES IN A VARIETY OF FUN COLORS, TOO!

If you want hype around this one, forget it.  Here's the bottom line.  If you're short on cash and just want something that'll play some records, take good care of them, and sound FUN, this is it!  If you're a newbie and just want to try getting into vinyl, this is your table.  If you're too settled in your ways to spend lots of cash on a new table, and your cherished Dual 1219 finally but the dust, this will be a worthy replacement, and then some!
