Quad 99 Preamp

Some values are ridiculous.  This one's just plain STUPID.  HOW CAN A BUDGET SOLID STATE PREAMP SOUND THIS GOOD, AND BE SO BRILLIANTLY DESIGNED?  I DON'T KNOW, BUT I'M GLAD TO HAVE IT HERE!

The Quad 99 preamp is a feat of engineering.  LOADED with features and a display that shows them all to you, this thing sings, and is fun to use!  Recording loop?  Yep.  How about a built-in parametric equalizer?  Yep.  ALL DIALABLE FROM THE REMOTE CONTROL?  YEP!

Did I mention it also SOUNDS GREAT?  Did I mention it's SOLID STATE and sounds this good?  REALLY!  OWN ONE.  THE QUAD 99 PREAMP IS A BARGAIN. If you really want to rock on a budget couple it with the 99 amp ($900!!!) and your'e ready to go.  If you happen to have some insane speakers that take a ton of power to drive, or you just want things to get RAVE-level in your place, get the already legendary current-dumping technology of the Quad 909 amplifier -- 150w/channel or 250 into 4 ohms....YEP, it's small, but weighs like a chunk of granite taking up the same space.
