Great bass is not about big thump.  It's about reproducing a NOTE - A REAL MUSICAL NOTE - ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE DEPTHS OF THE MUSICAL FREQUENCY SPECTRUM.  Not some teeth rattler...unless that's what you want.  Not some wall shaker...unless that's what you want.  It's about filling out ALL parts of EVERY musical instrument...the sound boards of a piano.  The chest in your favorite singer's voice.  The cavity in a violin that enables such a tiny instrument to fill an entire concert hall with its magical power.  THAT is what great bass is, and that is what REL is all about.  It's about bringing a musical presence that makes things more FUN.  I've never found a speaker that a REL won't mate well with.  Ready for the FUN?
