Great tuners are hard to find.  Many folks never realize how good a radio signal can be until they hear that a great tuner is a LEGITIMATE HIGH END AUDIO SOURCE COMPONENT!  It should SOUND GOOD, NOT JUST HAVE A BUNCH OF PRESETS AND 'STUFF.'

Some things to consider:

• How good does it sound on your favorite station WHERE YOU LIVE? Remember that signal reception and strength varies dramatically depending on your part of town, how far the station's transmitter is from your tuner, what may be in the way between the transmitter and your home...get the idea?
• How effectively does it grab AND HOLD ON TO a signal?
• How effectively does it grab the signal you want AND REJECT OTHERS NEAR IT ON THE RADIO DIAL?
  
• Does it sound flat, or does it BLOOM WITH SPACE AND TIMBRAL RICHNESS LIKE YOUR OTHER SOURCES? If not, consider another tuner, OR GET A GREAT ANTENNA!  A GOOD ANTENNA CAN NOT BE UNDERESTIMATED!!!!
