Here's the story.  It's not about 33 1/3.  It's about the 100,000 points along every foot of record groove that your diamond is otherwise TRYING to traverse without this device, and successfully translating into ultra-fine details in MUSIC when the Ultimate Motor Drive is placed in between your turntable's motor and your power source.

My initial first-hand exposure to the Ultimate Motor Drive went like this....I'd already lived with the original Motor Drive and LOVED IT.  I had a client, Tom, whose Basis/Graham rig was already QUITE dialed in.  Tom said he wanted to know how much better, if any, the Ultimate would be over the "regular one."  I brought it over, thanks to Lloyd's kindness in sending us one to check out.  I plugged the unit in, we flipped the "side switch," which is a phase corrector - "You'll know instantly which is correct," said Lloyd, and he was right....that took about three seconds....then Tom and I sat back and began listening to a side of classic Jazz.  About 30 seconds in,  I commented "the bass is better..." and Tom quickly followed with "the soundstage is a lot better, too."  Neither of us spoke again for the next 20 minutes, which was when the LP had ended.  We looked at each other and realized that neither of us had uttered a word during the entire LP side, and we both commented on actually FEELING better having listened to the tunes unfold.  Tom wrote me a check right then and there, and I immediately spent all the money (and then some) for another one for our sales floor.  It's been a staple here ever since.
