Initially designed for Lloyd's Proscenium-series turntable, these are not just your basic brass cones and some heavy discs for your gear. They are an evolved, well-conceived system of products which are totally tweakable in and of themselves, which will enable you to dial in the tonal balance of virtually any component in your audio or theater system. The Valid Points Resonance Control System, standard kit will allow you to do some substantial improvements to any component in your system -- CD players and transports, DACs, turntables, preamps, amps, speakers, subwoofers -- all will benefit from judicious use of Lloyd's standard kit. Purchase the Super Tuning Kit, and you may start mixing and matching with 1/2" or 1" resonance control discs, which may be implemented on mains transformers, output transformers on tube gear, tonearm armboards, to add mass and resonance control to otherwise lightweight turntable plinths, or even to add some necessary mass to change the otherwise unpleasant resonance characteristics of shelves in your audio rack which may in and of themselves be problemmatic -- granite, glass, or metal, for example. These things work WELL in SO many places, you'll be amazed at how far you can take your system with these wonderful devices. Have me over.
